Prominent Rochester Attorney-Mediator, James E. Morris, has been nationally recognized for two major achievements.

The American College of Civil Trial Mediators, a national organization of pre-eminent dispute resolution professionals, inducted Mr. Morris as their 2013 Distinguished Fellow at the college’s annual conference on July 15th.  As the sole recipient of the honor, Mr. Morris was cited for his continuing commitment to the organization as a past President of their Board of Directors and as a longstanding member since 2002.  

In addition, Mr. Morris was recently ranked among the Top 50 Upstate New York Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers nationwide who represent more than 70 practice areas and have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Mr. Morris was among the 50 elite lawyers who received the highest point totals in the Upstate New York nomination, research and blue ribbon review process.

Mr. Morris is an experienced litigator and practicing attorney with the longtime Rochester, New York law firm Morris and Morris Attorneys.  As an accomplished mediator for more than 15 years, Mr. Morris is known throughout Upstate New York for his ability to resolve complex disputes through mediation.   In addition, he has 30 years experience as a judge, both as Brighton Town Justice and as Acting City Court Judge for the City of Rochester, New York.

The American College of Civil Trial Mediators, established in 1995, is a non-profitnational organization of pre-eminent dispute resolution professionals.
